Cory Tolson hails from La Plata, MD. Ever since he was a youngster you would find him outdoors playing in the woods around the neighborhood. In 2006 Cory found himself standing on the famous yellow footprints at Parris Island, SC to become a US Marine. After boot camp he was stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC and made a deployment to Afghanistan. During the lifestyle within the Corps he was introduced to hunting in 2009 by his longtime childhood friend from home Shane Horsewood. Still being fairly new to the hunting world he has learned fast and quickly became a person Shane is able to talk to for ideas for a successful strategy. Cory has this natural ability to understand the game he is after to put together a game plan to be successful. This is a talent that many must learn and understand but to him it comes natural.
During his free time you can find him active in the outdoors from playing softball with the community, running, and going on long hikes. On the weekends you can even find him watching cartoons when he has downtime. Cory has been with Red Trail Outdoors from when it was just a dream talked amongst friends.
