Even as a young child, Pat preferred to be outdoors. While other kids were indoors playing video games, Pat was outside riding his bike. As he got older, he was involved in sports. Pat’s love of the outdoor grew into an interest in hunting. By the age of thirteen he had a bow and a gun and was on his way to becoming an avid hunter.
Through high school Pat polished his hunting skills. He spent many cold mornings in a tree standing waiting for the opportunity to shoot a big buck.
In his senior year of high school Pat was in an ATV accident which left him a quadriplegic. Pat was hospitalized for nine months. After being discharged from the hospital, he traveled to Baltimore three times a week for a year and a half for rehabilitation therapy. Pat was always positive and looked forward to being outdoors and possibly hunting again.
Through the use of adaptive equipment along with help from family and friends, Pat is again enjoying his favorite activity – Hunting
